Vergo’s 2023 Christmas Raffle: Supports PTSD UK and Maggie’s Centres Through Festive Fundraising

This December, the spirit of giving was in full swing at Vergo as we hosted our much-anticipated annual charity raffle. The event, always a highlight of our festive calendar, was back and more exciting than ever!

Bigger and Better Prizes for Worthy Causes

Thanks to the generous contributions from Vergo and some of our key supply partners, this year’s raffle was packed with bigger and better prizes for our lucky raffle ticket winners. From luxury hampers to tech gadgets and experiences, each prize was a token of gratitude towards our colleagues’ commitment and hard work throughout the year. It wasn’t just about winning great prizes and spreading some festive cheer but also about making a positive impact.

Supporting PTSD UK and Maggie’s Centres

This year, we were thrilled to support two worthy charities: PTSD UK and Maggie’s Centres. PTSD UK works tirelessly to improve the lives of those affected by Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, while Maggie’s Centres provide free cancer support and information in centres across the UK. Both charities are close to our colleagues’ hearts, reflecting our commitment to making a difference in the community.

Our teams showed incredible generosity, raising a record-breaking £1,585 in ticket sales. But the giving didn’t stop there. In the true spirit of Christmas, Vergo stepped up to match the total amount raised through ticket sales, doubling our contribution. This brought our overall donation to £3,170, split between PTSD UK and Maggie’s Centres.
